Our Shamanic Pancha Karma programs are custom designed to each individual and their unique needs. There are clients who, because of schedule restraints have stayed for 8 days (this is more of a palliative approach) and other clients who have stayed for 3 full months of treatment. We recommend a minimum of 14 days. The program typically combines Ayurvedic palliative treatments known as Purva Karma with some of the deeper aspects of Pancha Karma: vamana (therapeutic emesis), virechana (therapeutic purging), basti (therapeutic enemas) and nasya (nasal medicines) are recommended as well as internal oleation as per the individual constitution and the imbalance we would be addressing. We also offer several non traditional PK treatments like medicated clay wraps and salt scrubs that assist in the detoxification process.

Upon arrival, we will discuss in detail an outline for the treatment protocol. All of the medicines used during this process are created specifically for the individual from plants of the Amazon, of which Aubrey have been working with long enough to understand and apply through the lens of Ayurvedic pharmacology. Another element of our Pancha Karma programs which is unique but not mandatory is the integrated use of the Amazonian plant medicine Ayahuasca. We've found it to be a very powerful and complimentary ally to the Pancha Karma protocol as it can be of profound assistance to understanding the root of an issue and what steps need to be taken to correct the underlying terrain and to bring it back into healthy balance. Daily asana and meditation may also be employed and would be tailored to the individual and the imbalance at hand.

We request confirmation 30 days before your intended date of arrival. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at that time. You will receive intake forms that would need to be filled out and returned prior to arrival and we will schedule a Skype interview as a preliminary exchange.

Camu camu may be mentioned by your medical practitioner to be contraindicated due to its chemoprotective (prevents oxidative stress) properties. According to Sloan-Kettering: "Camu-camu has a high amount of Vitamin C which is an antioxidant. It may interact with certain chemotherapy drugs that rely on the generation of free radicals for their cytotoxic effects." Chemotherapy is inherently an oxidative process. As their effects may be contrary to the other, it may be preferable to work with camu camu as a palliative therapy or post chemo, after first checking with your oncologist or primary physician.

All our flower essences are currently available in dosage bottles. Most of these essences, hand collected from important medicinal plants growing in some of the wildest bioregions of the Peruvian Amazon and Andes, have not yet been widely available to the world so we encourage people, especially flower essence practitioners who may wish to integrate these flowers into their tool kits to first try them and work with them for awhile. In the future, we plan on offering stock bottles. But for now, we encourage you to try the dosage bottles and familiarize yourself with their teachings and distinct energies. The bottles contained in the Amazonian Master Flower Essence Collection are 3.75 ml (3 drops per dosage = approx 25 dosages in a bottle) and the flower essences which are sold separately are packaged in 10 ml bottles (3 drops per dosage = approx 65 dosages in a bottle.)

The best way to utilize our Saumerio Incense is in a heat-proof bowl with a burnable non-toxic charcoal. Fill the bowl with a layer of sand or dirt. Next, light a piece of burnable charcoal and place it atop the first layer. We recommend a using a non-toxic charcoal for optimal therapeutic results. Once the charcoal is lit a red coal will begin to form. At this point, simply sprinkle a small amount of the Saumerio Incense atop the charcoal and offer your intentions and prayers. This method may seem more labor-intensive than lighting a stick of incense. It is traditional to South and Central America and is a wonderful example of Spiritual or Shamanic Aromatherapy. For more information on this subject, sign up for our newsletter on our home page and receive the free video: "Saumerio ~ the Art of Amazonian Shamanic Aromatic and Energetic Ablutions."

Our source of vitamin C comes directly from a fruit. It is more bio-available to the body than synthetic ascorbic acid, which is actually not vitamin C and is what most vitamin C tablets contain. The body recognizes and is able to better assimilate vitamin C as well as all vitamins and minerals when they comes from Nature in the form of food or medicine.

There are several reasons why your product might vary slightly from the last one. All our products are crafted with precision and care, in small artisanal batches at The Jungle Lab, our Amazonian facility located in Tarapoto, Peru. While we maintain certain standards of quality and consistency, we also strive to continually refine our formulations, so you are receiving the most therapeutic product of its kind. Besides improvements in our formulations, we have also found that our products may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as the effect of climate on the plants we harvest, as well as time and location of harvest, to name a few. In addition, many of our products are vintage or seasonal and produced only once from rare and highly prized ingredients.

Qori Inti Amazonian Herbals offers many immersions, retreats, workshops, seminars and apprenticeship programs where you can study with either Aubrey or Dionisio. We believe that Nature provides Her bounty for our benefit and nourishment. However, there is a vast difference between taking only what is needed and overharvesting. It is our experience that materials, which have been harvested in an ethical or sustainable manner, have a profoundly greater therapeutic effect than if they had been harvested by machines or in massive quantity. The Qori Inti Amazonian Herbals wildharvesting team is trained to expertly identify medicinal plants and trees in their wild habitat as well as to know when and how to extract materials without putting pressure on the species. Once we harvest from particular plants or trees, we leave them to rest for a period of time to recuperate their strength before harvesting from them again. We apply biodynamic principles to our wildharvesting missions to assure the most bountiful and potent material goes into our products and we contribute to reforesting projects whenever is possible.

Most of the herbs used in our products are sustainably wildharvested, meaning they are extracted by our team of trained wildharvesters from pristine lands deep in the Amazon jungle, untouched by the byproducts of industry, pesticides or pollutants. They are not planted or cultivated but rather sown by the hand of Mother Nature, therefore they are not certified. Wild-grown food and herbs are considered by many to be more potent therapeutically than their cultivated counterparts.

We use a locally sourced ethanol distilled from organically grown sugar cane.

A flower essence is the energetic signature of a particular botanical, an imprint of its genetic and vibrational codes, channeled through the symbiotic interfacing of the elemental frequencies of light and water. Flower essences from Amazonia reflect the information of the pristine wilderness where they grow. Rather than addressing emotional or mental imbalances as is the forte of other flower essences, Amazonian flower essences collectively transmit the frequency of Source Consciousness reflected in the dynamic symmetry of the living matrix of the jungle.

Qori Inti hydrosols are produced from steam distilling sustainably wild-harvested plant material - herbs, leaves, roots and flowers of the Peruvian rainforest. Through the distillation process, the aromatic molecules as well as the vibrational and therapeutic imprint of the botanical material become infused and suspended within the liquid crystalline matrix of pure water. Hydrosols are a bio-compatable and beneficial medium, symbiotic to our own inherent aqueous structure. Hydrosols have similar healing properties to essential oils and can be used in a myriad of ways not recommended for most essential oils, such as application to the face and skin, taken internally in small quantities or for use with animals and small children. Unlike many flower waters on the market, which are actually just essential oils added to water thus diluting the therapeutic benefits of the oil, a true hydrosol is distilled and retains the beneficial medicinal components that each plant has to offer, in a soothing and gentle form. Keep hydrosols in a dark and cool place or refrigerate to preserve shelf life.

The term elixir probably originated in Arabia and denotes a sweetened, aromatic, alchemically combined solution of alcohol and water that containing or being used as a vehicle for medicinal substances. However, the process of creating liquid botanical preparations may be as old as humanity. At Qori Inti Amazonian Herbals, we prefer to use liquid as the medium of transporting botanical information to the body/mind/spirit paradigm. Our herbal elixirs allow one to taste the herb fully, and taste is considered by Ayurveda to be an important part of the healing process. Taste starts the digestive process and sends signals to the body as to what to expect, already initiating the intelligence of your body’s own inner pharmacy. In addition, the human body is comprised of 70% water, so adding one aqueous solution to another naturally engenders better solubility and synergy between us and the plants. Furthermore, powdered or capsulated botanicals seem to lack the life force of their fresh, living counterparts. It is our intention and goal to transmute the living essence of the Amazonian wilderness through our botanical products. All Qori Inti elixirs are processed from freshly gathered plants that have been sustainably wild-harvested from the Peruvian Amazon. Our elixirs are dual and sometimes triple extracted in various menstruums. The resulting fractions are then combined synergistically through a time intensive process to yield the most complete, holistic and full spectrum action of our wildcrafted botanicals.

This category of products is where the botanical artistry of Qori Inti Amazonian Herbals truly shines. Many of these creations are produced from rare and highly prized ingredients. They reflect intelligent and unique combinations of plants that utilize a synthesis of esoteric or elaborate Ayurvedic, alchemical and shamanic formulation methods. They are a result of Aubrey’s deepest inspiration combined with years of study and contemplation and often produced only once or in minute quantities. Our vintage and seasonal products can be likened to a fine wine by any discerning herbal connoisseur. They are meant to be treasured, savored and shared.

Our 50 ml. elixirs and hydrosols are packaged in Miron violet glass, which functions as a form of natural preservation- it helps extend the shelf life of our products. According to Swiss biologist, Dr. H. Niggli, “Experiments with violet glass have shown significantly better storage capacity. Violet glass offers optimal protection for: remedies, essences, tinctures, (natural) cosmetics, (food) supplements, wine, oils, etc.” Compared with regular brown, blue or green glass, violet glass specifically offers:

• Substantially better filter against light influences
• Optimally maintains the bio-energetic and therapeutic integrity of contents

Many of our botanical perfumes, massage oils, Shingada Nasya Serum and Sol Food Serum are currently being formulated in a base of organic, hand-pounded, artisan-made coconut oil. Due to the lipophilic nature of unfractionated coconut oil, it hardens at temperatures below 70'F. We currently prefer this specific coconut oil above many other choices as a base for our serums, oils and perfumes due to its high quality and vibration. It is created for us by hand, in small batches by a local woman here in Tarapoto, Peru. However, during the cooler months in the Northern Hemisphere, it may solidify. Placing the bottle near (not on) a heat source, such as on a towel or blanket that is on or near a radiator or sticking the bottle into a mug of warm water for a few minutes will rectify the issue. This will warm and liquify the oil, making it more accessible for use as well as amplify the therapeutic aspects of doing nasya, performing self massage or anointing the body during the winter months. Just make sure it is not hot before applying it.
